This has happened to me a few times in the past and I believe the trigger is reaching/exceeding 400 total torrents AND THEN restarting my computer (so long as I don't restart after reaching/exceeding 400 torrents, I don't get any "I/O Error" notifications).Īs you can see, the errors do not make reference to any particular torrent or file like normal "I/O Error" notifications do. ![]() In this guide, we have addressed the QBitTorrent I/O. The strange thing is, none of my torrents are actually being given the "Errored" status and all of my torrents seems to keep running normally, but obviously the constant flood of notifications cluttering up the screen is very annoying. Torrenting is one of the most popular ways of downloading content online and people are all for it. There are occasional pauses in the notifications of, at most, a few minutes, but they keep appearing as long as the program is running, and usually several of them crop up all at once. It's really fucking annyoing.I am having an issue with qBittorrent where it keeps throwing up blank "I/O Error" notifications. I start it again, i/o error again, pause it, "errored", start it again, and after a few infuriating cycles of this, sometimes the error stops. ![]() It's completely random which torrent it happens to, and after I get the error, the torrent's status remains as "seeding", but if I then pause it, it will say "errored". I can't read what the error says since it's cut off. Since I don't intend to use that client ever because I don't hate myself, I then imported those torrents with "Import Existing Torrents" to qBittorrent, selecting the torrent files (which I saved into the same folder where qBit saves its torrent files regularly), selected the folder which was used to create the torrent, and ticked in the "Skip data checking stage and start seeding immediately" option because if I don't it doesn't work, it just won't re-check the torrents.įollowing that, I'm getting random i/o errors. So I made a buncha torrents in uTorrent (I used it specifically for the "preserve file order" option, which as I saw qBittorrent doesn't have in its torrent creator options). Hi there, I encountered the following problem when downloading certain stuff on Utorrent. 1377x Proxy is not a new tracker, but with a completely revised interface at the end of last year A historical tracker, even, born in 2007, when downloading via torrent on the internet exploded completely Daily Visitors (Last 90 days). If you click 'Force recheck' you'll see that the torrent is 98-99. Download 1377 x Torrents from Our, GET 1377 x Torrent or Magnet via Bittorrent clients.I tried chown-in the folder but it's not working. When I open up qBittorrent with sudo, it has no problems. I'm downloading my stuff to an external hard drive (with ext4 filesystem). When I open up qBittorrent it throws out I/O problem. Probably that's why you get status 'errored'. (Ubuntu) I'm using Ubuntu desktop on my laptop. For that torrents qbittorrent have to download some pieces again. ![]() I've seen this discussed a bajillion times and it never got a solution so I'm going to ask again. I found two reasons for the error: I have some partially downloaded torrents (just some files not complete torrent). I downloaded qBittorrent from Pamac and have been downloading some torrents. ![]()
